Hello everyone!
Yesterday i finished a bag for my knitting tools and yarns. It's made of orange felt - about 2mm thick, folded in 2 - it's because 2mm is not enough (hihi ;) ) and 2 layers helped me to hide the left side of decorations made with my all new felting machine ;) (it's so much fun!!!). In plus i made borders with green mouline. It isn't work of art but i like it, it's very functional, all my knitting things fit in and i made it stand alone (it may sound weird again ;) but i can't do anything about it - i can only assure you that i had only the most innocent things in mind). Hope you like it tooFriday, June 13, 2014

Braids are soooo... princessy!
Oh, i just love braids. When i was a kid i thought that there's only one kind of braids - luckily - i was so wrong. I started to discover various types of braids when i got interested in polish folk culture - on the pictures presenting polish traditional gowns there is ALWAYS some beutiful blonde girl with a very long, thick and healthy looking braid. Always. But that's not the point.
The point is, that all that stuff became fashionable, and i thought of making a braid-style bracelet so maybe someone buys it? Or one of my friends will like it so i can make her\him a gift? I decided to make it in different, not-at-all-natural colors so it doesnt look like made of hair. It would be too silly. And awful.
Am i loosing topic again?
I think i just should say that my bracelet is made of mouline. The fastening it's a 10mm snap hook. Uff! I did it! :) :) :)

Flowers, rainbow, unicorns!!!
Unicorns - for me - an ultimate symbol of naivety, happiness and loveliness. Media made them appear as dramatic and pompous creatures, but I think (just like Private from "Penguins of Madagascar") that they are soft, friendly and very very lovable. Let them be an inspiration for you too ;)

Every occasion is good to make gifts...
Hello!
I love making presents to other people. When i see them happy i feel just wonderful - and everyone knows that the most beautiful gifts are those made by us. It's because that they're absolutely unique and show that we (in these times when everyone has no time etc etc) are willing to make some effort for the recipient (and believe me, usually it's much more than one hour) - not just go to the nearest gift-shop and buy ready stuff.
And that's the reason i'm gonna show you a gift i made for one of my friends a few days ago. Maybe some of you will get inspired, or at least i hope so.
So, i made an artbook. Below there are photos of the covers. This artbook is entirely made of scrap materials - i really care about the environment, and don't like waste things that can still be a part of something beautiful.
Every (or almost) page is different from another - has a different pattern or colour.
All pages are stitched by me, i made patterns on pages too. Some of them are blank, in case my friend would like to make an ordinary sketch.

Black&White - Pandas
They are cute, big, warm, furry and... they are dying. It's extremely hard to breed those animals in zoos, and they can't reproduce in wilderness either, because bamboo forests where they used to live are almost completely cut.
Still - at least for me - they remain one of the most inspirational animals.
Every life should have nine cats
Everyone has a cat inside. Want some proof? Ok. For example, after all day of hard work, when you finally get home and lay on your couch you feel this enormous relaxation - a little thrill runs trough your body causing every piece of you feel pleasure.
That's your kitty ;)
I love my "internal cat" and all other cats too. And I believe that most people on this planet feel the same. Cats are awesome. But not everyone can have one because of allergies, small apartment or dog living already in our house - that was my inspiration to make those little kittens. You can take them everywhere you go, they dont cause allergy and no dog will ever try to eat them ;) They are made of colorful pieces of cloth, cotton wool, a piece of string and metal circlet.
For now, I made three of them:

My little big inspiration
She was so tiny and fragile, so delicate. She took my heart and will keep it forever. It happened so incredibly fast. I remember how i used to sing her lullabies, how we watched cartoons together, how i taught her how to walk and catch butterflies... She was the first person i loved so much.
We spent lots of time together, i thought of her as "my" Bimba. But one day i had to leave... Now we see each other once a year, or even less. I miss her so much. Sometimes i regret that i left her - and i know that she's in good hands... It's just... There are times i'd like to hold you, and hug you, and tell you that you're the most beutiful princess in the world... But i can't.
My little ballerina. I will always love you.
Twinkle, twinkle little star...
This is a small pendant i've done few days ago. It's made of three felt stars, whitch are trimmed with colourful mouline. They are hanging on mouline braids decorated with beads of matching colour.
I've done some of them in various color sets.
"Strawberry pie" - dark brown, golden yellow and pink
"Ice mints" - light azure and cyan
"Fruity lollipop" - light orange, pink and green
It took me about an hour to make one pendant, but i think that if you know what colors do you want to use - it's much quicker
Love ya'!
